For the the last three years I have been teaching at a Sunday school in Maryland. Working with kids on language, reading, writing and history has given me such a passion. I used many techniques depending on the students age and needs. For instance some of my younger students create an Alphabet time line to refer back to when forgetting a letter while reading or spelling.
