I always have done well on standardized tests. I scored a 1210 on the GRE when only graduate-school bound college seniors took it, which means it was more difficult to obtain a high score on a competitive exam. My score included a 690 on the verbal, which was very high. The average score then was 500. This was almost two standard scores above the mean. I have 15 years of experience teaching GED prep.
