I am a sixth grade math teacher and my husband is in the army. When we got orders to relocate to New Jersey, I was nervous because in order to continue teaching math in New Jersey I had to pass the Praxis 2 in Secondary Mathematics Content. This is a teaching certified exam in order to obtain licensure in the content desired. I didn't know what to do because it had been so long since I have worked on upper level Mathematics. I ended up passing my exam with flying colors. Ayanaw helped me in all areas of Mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Calculus. He was very affordable and made the content seem easy while patiently explaining it to me. He was well adjusted when I threw many different Mathematics topics his way. I highly recommend Ayanaw as a tutor due to his calm demeanor and diverse knowledge in Mathematics.
She is always available and very creative. She is always able to adapt to a student's difficulties in learning. She makes one feel comfortable, is dynamic and fun. She's very patient and takes the time to provide a good explanation. She's a very good teacher and one big thanks!
Not sure what happened in this session. Lots of texting going on and not a lot of focus on my daughter. Frustrated that ending sessions seems to be more focused on personal schedule rather than instruction. Very disheartening in that we are moving toward finals.
I really liked Bonnie's classes. She reviewed a lot of grammar with me but, mostly, she focused on pronunciation, as that was my main interest. She gave me many exercises, and really stressed the spots I have more difficulty with. One simple thing I really liked was how she always tried to engage in conversation, taking notes while we chatted about various things, so at the end she could point out the things I've said wrong or could improve. She is very friendly and organized and I found her didactics to be great. Bonus for the small bits of America/New-York history she gave every now and then, especially, related to English language.
