I've been teaching for years -- little kids, high school students, college students, Japanese professionals and retirees. Japanese learners, welcome! I feel your pain. I took the college classes and learned how little they teach you. I somehow learned anyway -- did a dissertation on Japan and am now a professional translator. It took me many years of sweat and toil. I'll save you time and suffering by showing you what really works. (I'll also bring you to my wife and her friends. She says... Read more

He explains the topic with clarity which helps me to understand the topic and brainstorm my ideas. He is great tutor for students.
The session went very well. He knows how to give just enough "guidance" so my daughter could work the problems mostly on her own, which built her confidence. We plan to work with him again soon.
She checked my essay and fixed grammar errors and context problems. At first, she went through my essay correcting grammar errors. Then, while she reread it, she pointed out the context problems and gave me some good ideas about how I could make the writing better. She constantly asked me what I wanted to say in a sentence when she did not get the meaning. She is a great tutor.
Mr. D is a fantastic tutor. Accounting was my kryptonite until he came along. After struggling the first time I took the course, with Mr. D's help, I was able to get a B for my final grade. He makes thing simple and easy to understand, and he relates it's applications to the real world. He is the best tutor I've had hands down in my entire college career.
