Today was the first time my son has been open about his learning disability and acknowledged his weaknesses & where he thinks he needs the most help. Pamela helped him set daily & weekly goals and for me as a mom I hope to learn how to study with him.. He is really wanting to break old habits and set up structured studying times and learn and not be embarrassed to ask for help. Pam is kind & patient and we are looking forward to helping him be more confident for the next school year.
I have far too much education for my days on Earth. Teaching, in my opinion, is an art form. Some have it and most do not. For me, it has always been about the professor’s ability to communicate, intellect, patience, demeanor, and (most important) listen and reply to questions (regardless of how basic the issue may be). Thomas has all the attributes and characteristics of a great teacher. I am quite pleased and we are moving along with my lessons. I look forward to our next one.
Willem provided the capable set of fresh eyeballs I was seeking for an assignment in building a dynamic website in PHP/MySQL. The website enabled the buying and selling of stocks, as well as logging a history of transactions, and the requisite user registration/password changing features.
Christy is doing a fantastic job with our daughter. Because of her background she is not only teaching our daughter English as second language but also preparing her for interviews at universities. She is wonderful with our daughter who is a little shy and nervous. Christy helps her with speaking, intonation and body language as well as with vocabulary. We love to see our daughter enjoying her lessons with Christy. She is really doing a great job and giving our daughter more self-confidence. Thank you Christy!
