Insightful, Results-Oriented Harvard Grad Specializing in Test Prep

My graduate studies have included the study of ADHD. I am particularly well-acquainted with the Spark Program developed by John Ratey, MD and its applications to the school setting. More personally, I have lived with ADHD for many years, and know first-hand just how challenging the condition can be; I also know that it does not ultimately have to get in the way of learning anything one wishes to learn. I have worked with a number of ADHD clients, with great success. Read more

I enjoy guiding students of all abilities to write effectively and eloquently. In an extraordinarily competitive environment for college and graduate school admissions (less than a 5% acceptance rate to the most elite institutions), it is essential to differentiate one's applications with exceptionally compelling personal statements and supplemental essays, and authenticity is crucial. My students have gained admission to many top-tier schools (undergraduate and law, business, medicine, socia... Read more

Dr. Tina worked with Morgan on reading and comprehension. As she worked with Morgan she brought out the best in Morgan during their time together. Dr. Tina was so patient and she made Morgan feel comfortable during the tutoring session. As Morgan's parents (David and Charity) we loved what we saw because she truly taps into the learner's ability in a variety of creative ways and made her feel successful. We (David and Charity) believe in Morgan and we could see that Dr. Tina believes in Morgan and her ability as a 1st grader. Thank you Dr. Tina your work with Morgan is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I liked the tutor's way. Marjan was working with me step by step and I did not feel lost or uncomfortable working with here. Especially that I am not a good writer.
She helped my foreign exchange student prepare for the TOEFL test and after a few lessons with Nicola she was able to raise her score by 26 points... Amazing! I would listen to their sessions and could tell that she was very patient and knowledgeable. She was always prepared and came with study guides and reading materials so the student could work on her own in between lessons. I highly recommend her services.
My daughter graduated from college more skilled in Revit than AutoCAD. Big mistake! I didn't know who to turn to. I found Tess on Wyzant and she has been God-sent. Not only is my daughter learning much faster than I thought she would, but Tess has really mentored her and encouraged her all the way. To say you are proficient (and right out of college) in 2 design tools is quite an accomplishment and we are almost there. Thank you, Tess!
