Energetic Business Founder Offering a Variety of Tutoring Services

In order to reach goals we must often try, then try again and then maybe try differently. Our school endeavors teach us how to do just that before we enter the workplace and the rest of life. For that reason, it is important that we gain as much from our education as possible. Being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 7 and losing my leg after a year of chemotherapy taught me those things. I was in the hospital, keeping up with my classmates, and facing real life challenges which showed m... Read more

I can't remember the last time anything exceeded my expectations. However, the WyzAnt tutor who came to my house, Alfonso C., clearly did. He was prepared, professional, personable, and effective.
J.C. has been very patient and teaches my daughter in a way she can easily understand. He comes prepared with sample problems and examples. My daughter's grade and confidence are both improving!
I hired Alexis to help with my Java class. I've learned a lot from every session, and Alexis has been able to answer all my questions quickly and thoroughly. He is also very quick to respond to e-mails and requests for additional tutoring sessions. Because I live in a different state than Alexis, we have had all sessions over Skype. Before my first session I was a bit concerned that having tutoring lessons over Skype rather than in person might be difficult, but this has not been a problem at all. In fact, tutoring over Skype is great because I can share my screen with Alexis and we can talk through topics while looking at the same code. I'm very happy I've found Alexis and I would recommend him to anyone needing help with Java.
My daughter has had a number of sessions with Joanne now and has really taken to her. Joanne has brought tools to help her with her reading and math and been great at explaining good strategies and techniques that my daughter understands. We are extremely happy with Joanne!
