Over the past view sessions, she has helped my son with translations of current event articles. Also, she has helped him write and formulate essay responses to debate topics. Her assistance helped him receive a 4 on his AP-style French essay, as well as a 4 on his e-mail response (both are parts of the AP test - getting a 4 is very nice). She has also been correcting my son as he reads from The Chronicles of Narnia (in French, of course). She also speaks to him in French (even though he is kind of reluctant; he can understand what she says, for the most part, but has some difficulty in responding). He plans to print out debate topics and work with her on them. Her work over the few weeks we have been with her, so far, has benefited my son in both his speaking, writing, and comprehension skills - at this rate, I do believe that he will do well on the AP test (however, his goal of speaking in French may be a bit harder). His grade in AP French IV has risen to a 92. 12/6/12 update: his grade has risen to a 96! 06/2013 update: Passed AP test and was able to get credit at A&M for two French classes. (8 college units)
Judy is an excellent tutor!! My daughter's grades improved significantly. She felt very comfortable working with Judy. Judy made math easy to understand. She also tutored her in biology. She answered all my questions and sent me summary after each session. Judy is not just a tutor but also a great mentor. I an so glad that we found her!!
I have to admit, I was looking for the cheapest tutor I could find, so Peter was not my first choice. But, I'm very glad I decided to meet with him. He is honestly the best tutor I've ever had. He takes the time to figure out where the root of my problems with algebra begin, instead of doing the work for me. He also explains everything in great detail and shows me shortcuts. We've already covered order of operations, PEMDAS, distribution, the FOIL method, exponents of numbers, variables and parentheses as well as factoring. All of these topics were covered in 2 sessions and I fully understand all of them now. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peter K. as a tutor. He is reliable and is helping me because he wants me to do well, not just to make a little extra cash.
Marc has solid understanding in Biology and good teaching technic. It helped my student a lot. I am going to use Marc service in coming future.
