All aspects of Biology, ACT/ SAT/ GED/ GRE Prep., Math., Biostatistics

As a former volunteer tutor at Springfield High School (as well as area junior high schools), I am conversant with the coursework structure and standardized assessment of Illinois (high) school students; and have firmly established that which I master the art of conveyance in, and (most importantly) that which I don't. Thusly, the student's time is assured to not be wasted due to unfamiliarity with actual, regional scholastic norms. As a research projects mentor for many high school, u... Read more

Reka has been incredibly helpful with tutoring me. She had helped me learn the Hindi language. Reka was always easy to contact and we were able to schedule sessions around my schedule. Her knowledge of the language and her ability to teach made it easier for me to grasp the sentence structure and the pronunciation of the Hindi language. The language was difficult for me, but Reka was very patient and helpful. I know Reka is very knowledgeable on other subjects than Hindi and I believe she would be as helpful in those subjects as she was for this. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for more knowledge on a subject.
We feel fortunate to have found Gabrielle to help our son who was struggling in second grade due to dyslexia and difficulty focusing. Gabrielle has the right combination of knowledge, caring and patience to work with children like our son. She has been a great resource for our family as we are beginning to understand the learning challenges our son faces. She continually educates herself on the best ways to work with children with learning disabilities, is reliable and committed to her student’s success. We highly recommend her.
My son had an optimistic view that he could understand Latin after one hour with Karl. My son was certain he might fail the subject. However, Karl taught him a lot in one hour and gave him the necessary confidence to feel he could do well on upcoming tests. I appreciate how Karl is able to teach, quiz, and review the Latin lessons with my son. My son will be well prepared for a very difficult final exam!
Not only do I better understand the material, I feel confident that I will do well in AP Physics since I have been tutoring with Melisa. Melisa has a wealth of knowledge and she even assigns me practice questions for extra practice. I was close to withdrawing from the course prior to tutoring with Melisa. Thank you so much, Melisa. I look forward to our upcoming sessions.
