I needed someone with the ability to throw a hail Mary pass during the last 10 seconds of the game. My daughter was in summer school and it looked like she wasn't going to pass Geometry with only three days before the final exam. I reached out to our regular tutor and as I expected... she wasn't working during the summer. In sheer despair, I went to wyzant.com and sent what now seems like an SOS MOM IN DISTRESS message. I honestly wasn't expecting a response; but, literally within 30 minutes Barron had responded to my distress message and an hour later, we had arranged for him to tutor my daughter for an hour or an hour and a half. Fast forward to the next day; and, what I thought would be an hour session lasted for THREE HOURS! I felt so bad that I had totally underestimated the amount of time she needed but Barron's focus the entire time was making sure that my daughter was confident in the subject matter AND that she was working through the problems correctly! We are still awaiting her final exam score; but, I am very confident that she passed the course... which would have never been possible without Barron.
