For the past eight years, I have been teaching statistics or accounting at two community colleges. In addition, I am the manager (and tutor) of a tutoring center at a community college that only tutors students enrolled in statistics or accounting. I currently teach accounting at a community college. In addition, I am the manager (and tutor) of a Tutoring Center at a community college that only tutors students enrolled in accounting and statistics classes. During the past several years, I have spent thousands of hours tutoring students one-on-one. Consequently, I have seen a lot of learning styles. I adjust my teaching style so that it matches the student's learning style. My students have told me that I have a way of explaining complex concepts in terms that are easy to understand.
