I am a Texas certified, experienced teacher of young children, enjoying providing children with the skills they need in becoming successful and excited readers. Having been an inclusion and a resource teacher, I have had the experience of working with children one to one and seeing the benefit of focused, individualized reading instruction. ADD/ADHD
As a Special Education teacher, I have worked with many students who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. I am able to help these students learn how to organize their study materials and their learning environment in order to focus their attention to the task at hand. I also know the importance of providing frequent stretch/movement breaks for these students.
