I began my teaching career in 2001 at the age of 27 after serving as a Police Officer for five years. I returned to the university where I played football, and completed my requirements in order to earn a Teaching License. I then taught in the city of Memphis for five years, where I earned a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching.
