The district where I worked is very good about training paras in tutoring students with special needs. My forte is working with high functioning children with autism or Asperger's Syndrome. Aspergers
I am an adult with Aspergers. Since 2007, I've worked in the public schools with special needs students. I've worked in the general ed classrooms with four students with Aspergers Syndrome ranging from grades K-6. I've had remarkable success working with a child with Aspergers in second grade.
