Hello! I am native Japanese and living CA for 10 years. Before I came here, I graduated college in Japan and obtained an AA degree in English. I also have a teacher's license in Japan, and am trained in how to teach English to 7th-9th graders. I've always had a passion to teach others. This was my first lesson with Maiko, but I know it is the beginning to a great learning experience. Maiko brought some printed lessons for us to go over and we swapped stories about learning Japanese and Japanese culture. So far, I can tell she is a patient and encouraging tutor.
