I became fluent in sign at a young age, as I have a deaf sister and my mother is an ASL-certified interpreter. I'm so glad to be fluent and have the opportunity to help others learn. It's an extraordinary skill to have in your back pocket and most certainly one of my favorite subjects to tutor.
