I retired in 2004 with 11 years experience as a classroom teacher in grades K - 2nd, and 11 years as a reading teacher. Since 1993, I have also privately tutored children pre K- 4th, who struggle to learn to read and write. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to train as a Reading Recovery teacher after my children went to college.
