I have taught at the primary level since March of 2010. After I graduated college, I started working as a substitute teacher for grades K-8 in the city of Chicago. In October of 2009 I was hired as a paraprofessional for a preschool student with cerebral palsy. I worked with the student in the afternoons when she was at school.
