Matthew
Math and Econ Tutor for all levels including test prep

That cooperative nature of tutoring, working together to achieve student-inspired goals, is what turned it into a passion. I graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Washington with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and Economics. As a math department tutor, I was given the opportunity to help college students of all l...

Matthew is fantastic! Super friendly, accommodating in terms of scheduling, and extremely knowledgeable. I would be dead in water for my course without him!

Matthew was a great tutor who at first establishes how much you understand the subject at first, than work from there. After my session, I have greater understanding of the difficult topics I had trouble on.

He was fun to work with and explained as best he could (I am a very flighty person when it comes to math. He kept me on track. Highly recommended!

Matthew helped me break down complex Master's level macroeconomics concepts that I was having a tough time with. He was patient and very thorough. I highly recommend Matthew!

Matthew is so patient, kind, and willing to work with your schedule. He never makes you feel dumb, which I have definitely had the experience of with other tutors! Definitely works to make sure you are feeling good about the material. Absolutely recommend him!

Matt reviewed my first assignment and said it was good to go pretty much and I would most likely get all points on it. He helped me with one problem and it ended up being wrong. I received a C for the homework assignment which I essentially did on my own. Later on I had a question on how to start my homework assignment for next week, he wrote 'I'm sorry if there was confusion about this, but i do not feel comfortable being an "on call" tutor (i.e answering random questions whenever you send them). If that is the type of tutor you are looking for, then it is probably in your best interest to look for someone else.' Random, it is about the homework assignment we had no plans next week to meet and I could start it so was asking for help, a session, etc. Don't use Matt, waste of time & money.

Matthew is a great tutor. He is helping me with Finite math and is doing an amazing job. He does an amazing job making sure that I understand everything. He's great at listening to what the issue is and then finding a way to help me understand the math. I would highly recommend Matthew.

Matthew is very helpful with my microeconomics course. The class was very difficult for me to follow in the short class time. Matthew was able to further explain things I didn't catch from my teacher. With only a few sessions I've improved my grade drastically. I plan to continue to use him through my final and future classes as needed.
