As an honors/AP student, I have received a community service award for tutoring students. I was in the AVID program in high school. I used my AVID skills to graduate in the top 20% of my class. In high school I was heavily involved with the Theatre Program. I made honor status in the National Thespian Society by my Sophomore year. I volunteered in the acting class where I was a Student Director. I had to rehearse lines, teach projection and character development to other students. I successfully directed my first show, my Junior year. I continued in college, mostly on the acting side. I also started my own Theatre Company and produced and directed Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing".
