Patient ESL - Accounting - Business - Law - Tutor
I am a part time college teacher, CPA, and attorney. I love teaching, and thought I'd tutor a little. I know business, accounting, and business law and taxation very well, and have taught college classes in those subjects. I am able to keep people laughing while they are learning! I have taught ESL classes to immigrants and others in the past, and have had a great and fun time doing that. I am certified in TESOL and understand how to help acquire language skills. I am a CPA, and have a lot of experience preparing financial statements for businesses, both big and small. I have completed SEC filings for public companies that required GAAP compliant financial statements, and have overseen the audit process where those statements are completed, and audited.

I have engaged in many of the techniques used by published experts and caregivers on those on the Autism spectrum, such as ABA, PECS and PRT. I have studied those techniques carefully, and know how to apply them. I have seen results from those techniques. I have a Substitute Teaching Credential in California, and significant classroom experience working with children on the spectrum. I fully understand the importance of early intervention, and more importantly, the intense importance of having peers engage a child on the spectrum. I have studied the science behind them, and have used ABA, PRT and PMT and understand RDI concepts. I have worked with ICEC, an early intervention non-profit, and even today, I am on their Board. I understand techniques such as ABA, PECS, PRT and more, but if given the opportunity to tutor, I will engage the subject in an interesting way, and then find a way to have peers do the same in a fun way. The ICEC method draws parents into this, giving parent instruction on how to develop socialization techniques on a naturally occurring basis. I believe that any professional will understand the unique and special benefits of this instruction.

Fred is an excellent tutor and a perfect match for me! I was looking for an ESL tutor at WyzAnt and found this hidden treasure with knowledge of business, accounting and law - all in one! I couldn't be more happy about my tutor not only because of all the topics we could talk about but also the way he presents it – very approachable and fun!

Fred is incredibly knowledgeable, and is a pretty fun tutor to joke around with to help you with your homework stress and anxiety. I'd love to have had him as a full time professor; you can really tell that through the myriad of professional experience he's had, he's had time to construct a teaching style that is well-nuanced and thorough, which is sorely needed in our education system!

Finally! After months of struggling, I understand the differences between Net Income on the P&L vs Net Income on the Tax Return. Why didn't I do this sooner? Fred, is awesome!
