I am currently finishing my courses in Child Development and have over ten years experience in Early Child Development as a Infant/Pre-s/Pre-K teacher. I currently tutor two children a five year old and an eight year old with ADD. I have also tutored a child for a year with ADHD. In my prior experience I tutored a developmentally delayed teenage paraplegic. Through these diverse teaching experiences I am able to adapt to different needs of a child. I am currently tutoring an eight-year old child with ADD after school and have been for over a year. I also tutored a child with ADHD last year. It takes time and patience but you figure out what techniques you need to use in order to help the children learn and succeed. I have taken over 50 units in Early Childhood Education and at this time I am in the process of taking another. There is always more to learn, and to take what you have learned to help others.
