Chemistry and Biochem have been my focus of study since college. I have worked in many labs and taught chem/biochem at many levels. I received the highest score on the SAT Chem test before going to MIT. Later I was an instructor in biochem and taught MCAT prep, including inorganic and organic chem. Seeing chemistry in my everyday environment is a pleasure and I convey this to my students.

I excelled in my college physics courses because there were always a few simple principles to apply to a problem using mathematical concepts. Simplifying and demystifying physics makes teaching fun.
SAT math
My interest in math and unusual math problems started in junior high. I received a score above the 99th percentile on the SAT Math achievement test before going to MIT, where math was an integral part of every course, including my major, biochem. I still enjoy going over the concepts and working problems with my students and helping them focus on the most relevant aspects of each problem.
