Over the past two years I have worked in two different Special Education classrooms, working with students facing a variety of learning challenges, including ADD and ADHD. I have directly supported these students by encouraging different learning and study techniques, helping them to understand what works best for them and providing them with multiple possible approaches to any given task or assignment. In addition, I have provided a plethora of outside resources for these students to access which can help them work with their learning challenges and allow them to thrive in their academic pursuits.
