Although I do not have a credential in special ed., I do have an LAUSD teaching credential and have several years of experience working with adults with disabilities at WVOC. Our school had an "adults with disabilities" office and several students were enrolled in my classes throughout the years. I learned strategies for teaching students with Autism, Aspergers, and ADD/ADHD. I feel confident in teaching special needs students and can offer strategies that will instill confidence in these students.

Although I do not have a Credential in Special Education, I do have several years' experience with LAUSD in teaching students with special needs. I taught at WVOC which is a LAUSD adult school. Special needs students were mainstreamed into all of our classes and about 20% of my students came from the "adults with disabilities" program. I also had some high school students with special needs. In addition to my work experience, I also have an adult son with Autism so I am very prepared to accept all the challenges that I may face and welcome the chance to try different strategies to help students reach their full potential.
