Susannah helped me revise my UC waitlist statements. I needed help including all my ideas for the statement within a 200 word limit, fleshing out my thoughts to make them come across more clearly, and organizing my thoughts in a way that made my statements flow well. First of all, Susannah is a tutor that responds very quickly to her messages. It made things easier because I was able to be in constant contact with her through Wyzant and this speedy communication relieved some of my stress because of the statement deadlines. It also only took one session, for each statement, for Susannah to help me finalize the statements. I appreciate how she helped me revise my words and was able to maintain my voice within the statement. After revising, she helped me cut out a few words or rearrange ideas so that my statement followed the word limit requirement. She is patient and works well with the student to ensure that the student's voice is present in their work. Overall, Susannah is an excellent writing tutor and I would work with her again in the future.
