Teaching was my first love. I knew from freshman year in high school that teaching was the only career for me. My goal was to help people enjoy learning, believe that they could succeed and want to continue to inquire and explore. Nothing is difficult if taken in steps and with support. I was slightly apprehensive before meeting Joan, as she didn't seem to have many other reviews on WyzAnt. It turns out Joan only relocated to NorCal a year or so ago to be near family, new grandchildren etc. Joan is a recently retired teacher and Principal from So Cal with 30+ years professional education experience. Joan is MORE than qualified to be your child's tutor. Joan is clearly tutoring now because she loves to teach. I have two young teenage boys who balk at any activity I take them to, even if it's something they chose to do on their own. I'm sure most parents can understand that typical push-back. I have yet to get one complaint from my boys. That's amazing to me, given this is about studying and schoolwork! Joan immediately won the confidence and respect of not just me, but my husband as well. Most importantly my young teenage boys wholeheartedly approve of this endorsement! Joan is a gem and an extremely talented, professional educator!
