Jahi has been great from the start. His initial tutoring session was all about trying to determine what my 16 year old math student aptitude was. Once that was established, Jahi was able to determine based on homework assignments, quizzes, and test what to work on during each session. Jahi is very informative, patient and knowlegable of the subject (Algebra II). My son enjoys jahi's approach to tutoring and is very pleased with him on his delivery of help. What we like most about Jahi is his determination to ensure your student does well and is learning the subject.

My son has struggled throughout the years in public schools. He was diagnosed with ADD and received "special" instruction and classes which actually amounted to "passing him along." When it came time for him to test for the ASVAB test to join the military he just couldn't pass. This is when we found Jahi. My son would come home and tell me, "he gets me mom. He totally understands that my brain doesn't think like other peoples and he teaches me how to do things differently so I can learn and remember." Well, it wasn't long before my son passed the ASVAB test and will be off in the military. This has been a passion of his since about the age of 3. He is one of the first to figure out how much everyone owes at a dinner and what the tip should be. He is so proud of himself. We just can't say enough great things about Jahi. He was patient, understanding, communicative with me, and yet forceful enough to get my son to study. We sure could use teachers like this! Thank you for everything Jahi! It is awesome how you touch people's lives.

What I admire most about Jahi is the fact that he tries to find out what motivates his students so he can connect on that level as well. He is patient, and understanding and my grandson looks up to him as a mentor.
