ADD/ADHD

I am a credentialed teacher in special education, I work with a variety of students who have learning issues that deal with ADD/ADHD. I have assisted them in the classroom. When working with students who have special needs, I use a variety of teaching strategies that include hands on activities, breaking down problems, and modifying assignments when needed. For the past 14 years, I have been working with special needs students in the middle school environment.

I am a credentialed teacher in multiple subjects and special education. My special education credential has an authorization to work with students who are on the Autism spectrum. I have been working for the past 14 years as a middle school teacher in the RSP setting in which I supported students in the areas of math, language, science and social studies. I also ran a social class, where students took turns talking, role playing and playing games.
