I taught 2nd through 6th grades in Los Angeles and Richmond. After 24 years of classroom experience, I was chosen to be an instructional specialist and helped teachers work with students for the last 12 years of my career. Medical issues forced me to retire before I was ready, and now I really miss teaching! I'm interested in finding out what students understand, and where their 'gaps' are.
