I was brought up in Boston, MA. When I graduated highschool, I went to a Junior College called, Cazenovia College, In Cazenovia New York. I graduated with a an Associates Degree. ADD/ADHD
Most of the children I worked with when I was a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center, had ADD and ADHD. I have also worked with various children on a one on one basis when I started my own tutoring business in 2004. Some children have been a year to two years. In my training, I know that children with either ADD/ADHD need a quiet environment to work in and not have a lot of clutter around them. Making the tutoring session interesting helps the child become more focused. Small rewards are important.
