For students struggling in biology, I highly recommend asking help from Haroldo. His extensive research experiences in stem cells, cancer, and neurobiology allow him to provide students with great insight to many difficult concepts. Haroldo never makes studying biology appear to be simply a matter of memorizing what's said in the textbook, which is often the wrong strategy that hinders students' success in biology classes. Rather, Haroldo always attempts to relate concepts to various real world applications, ranging from actual research/experiments conducted by biologists to interesting debates surrounding some questionable basis of sci-fi movies. His teaching style well suits the recent trend of college biology exams, which heavily test students' ability to interpret experimental results or to even come up with own experiments that test hypotheses. Therefore, Haroldo's approach to helping students is no doubt extremely valuable, allowing him to succeed as a tutor.
