I have been learning ASL for almost four years. I spend 70 hours a month as a volunteer in the deaf community. I also enjoy association with deaf friends and look to meet new people all the time to expand my knowledge of this beautiful language. I spend 3 hours a week attending ASL practice sessions to keep my skills sharp. I am not a certified teacher but I teach ASl I, II, to students of various ages at a local charter school.
