Latin, Greek, History prof happy to tutor
I am a retired Berkeley professor who will happily tutor local students in Latin, Ancient History, US history, and some other fields - especially HS students. I do my best to make Latin easier for students by teaching through the parts I did not understand myself as a HS student of Latin. I have developed several special techniques that make it easier to determine which case, or how to identify the verb's tense, etc. I do lessons at a house or at a cafe....

I have been tutoring and teaching for 20 years, often with 6-8th graders. A large part of their learning is organization of notebooks, a regular study time, and forming good study skills. With so much experience teaching MS students, I think I have a good idea how to help improve the study skills of a early teenager.
