Maham is an excellent tutor and a very nice guy. He was extremely patient and helped me significantly in understanding multiple chapters of mathematics in our relatively short 2 hour session, with the exception that he was 30 minutes late to our session. Didn't really bother me since he was a great tutor, but because of the tardiness, I rated him a 4 out of 5. Mind you, a 4 out of 5 is by no means a bad rating. Fast forward a week, and I text Maham to ask him for another session to get ready for my math final, and he tells me that he will no longer tutor me because I gave him that 4 out of 5 rating. What?! He says it's not good for his profile to "not have good ratings." If a customer is not fully satisfied, wouldn't you, as a smart business person, want to prove your worth to your customer and make them want to give you better ratings? His logic is incomprehensible to me, and he has sent me scrambling to find another tutor before my final. It's really a shame, because he's a nice guy and great teacher. He just makes poor business and PR-related decisions.

Matt recently tutored me for an accelerated summer online finite math class. Though it was online, the midterm and final were in person and worth about 80% of my grade. Matt was very patient with me and I could tell he really cared about my understanding of the material as well as how well I was doing in the class. He was very easy to work with and flexible with his time. I took this class once before with another tutor from this site and failed. However, I stuck with it and Matt has completely changed my feelings about this site and its tutors. Matt is great!

Maham does an excellent job of making physics concepts very simple! he gives certain rules of thumb that are concise and to the point. he makes physics much less challenging consequently! He reiterates certain analogies that I hear from my professor which reassures me that I'm getting quality service (i.e: the current is like water, or a short circuit can simply just be treated like wire) He is very patient and does his best to help his students. He will makes a majority of concepts easy to students who are dedicated and willing to understand the concepts of physics but are just simply struggling with the fundamentals. Once you master the fundamentals with Maham, you are now free to tackle the more difficult problems which the world of physics has to offer. And if you struggle with the more challenging problems, Maham is there for that too!
