I have been developing web applications for the past 10 years and each application needed to use JavaScript to handle the dynamic parts of the application which were for the input and validation of the data. I acquired my initial knowledge of JavaScript from the class work required for my 2 certifications from UC Irvine in J2EE (Java) Enterprise Technologies and Object-Oriented Technologies which included multiple classes in C++, Java and JavaScript. But, the most helpful and useful training came from my on-the-job knowledge of using JavaScript in the web applications to handle dynamic data input/update procedures and data validation procedures mainly. In addition, I have taken a class in DHTML (Dynamic HTML) which uses the DOM (Document Object Model) to manipulate the web page's elements and these procedures are handled through JavaScript. Completed the two certifications at UC Irvine Extension in 2003. From 2003 to present I have been involved in developing web applications with Java, JavaScript, HTML, ColdFusion and SQL.
