Gil was awesome helping me thoroughly understand the concepts of precalculus. I am one of those students who just does not get math, and having already taken precalculus before and receiving an F in it, my deepest fears were justified. However, this time I had Gil helping me with my precalculus class over summer session II at UCI (which, for those of you who don't know, is no joke). Despite having a busy schedule (and rightfully so, he is THAT good), Gil was always willing to work around to accommodate me, even going so far as to meeting up at 7 am at Starbucks to help me prepare for a quiz that day! He really broke it down for me and explained each concept thoroughly from the beginning and made sure that I understood the topic covered before we moved on. With his guidance throughout those 5 weeks, I was able to successfully pass my precalculus class with an A-!!! That is HUGE improvement for me and I was delighted when I finally saw that all the handiwork paid off. I will be taking calculus next and I will definitely be receiving tutoring from Gil again! He's one of the best!

My son has always struggled with math even though he has had tutors and one-on-one teacher instruction. So, when it came time for SAT testing, I knew that we needed someone that could help him from a different perspective (e.g., specific math instruction for the SAT test) and to arm him with test taking strategies as well. When I saw Gil's qualifications on WyzAnt, although he was expensive, it seemed like he would be the one that could identify my son's math issues and gear the tutoring accordingly. I have not been disappointed. My son has been working with Gil for several weeks now and I see a noticeable improvement in my son's math skills, including his grades at school which have significantly improved. My son has now asked me to continue the tutoring sessions so he can be a "Wyz" (wiz) at math for college. Thanks Gil.
