It is important to promote good study habits in all subjects in school. It is equally as important to work with individual students to determine how they learn best and which study techniques are the most effective for that particular student. Once a student has determined how they learn best, students are likely to do better in school. I spent one year student teaching in social studies. From this experience, I learning a variety of study skills and learned how to apply them to different types of learners.
