My name is Paul. accounting
Accounting has traditionally been understood as record keeping for purposes of controlling businesses in terms of incomes and expenditures. In working with USC and SMC students in their accounting courses including introduction to Financial Accounting and Intermediate Accounting I have worked to emphasize the non-obvious aspects of accounting that touch beyond profit making; These other aspects have bordered on accounting as a tool for processing information towards critical decision making within organizations.

Doug N. from Alhambra, CA
The lesson went very well. Paul was very clear and very patient. I feel good about what I'm going to learn.
Kathi L. from Hacienda Heights, CA
I give Paul 5 stars for tutoring me in SPSS statistics. He was patient and explained clearly so that I would understand. Paul made all the difference for me in being successful in my class!
Anita T. from North Hollywood, CA
Extraordinarily patient and kind. He has determined that my children will excel in school....and has the skills to ensure that they will. An excellent tutor. We are very fortunate to be working with him.

I've struggled with Algebra 2 the pass few years. I feel I know the subject but all of my test scores are low, very low. With just two lessons Paul has pin pointed some of the mistakes I've been making. I feel I'm on my way to very high test scores. He also talked to me about the importance of excelling in college. At and early age I loved math and Paul is showing me that math can be fun again.

Paul is an excellent tutor. He is very knowledgeable, clear, and patient to make sure the student understands the process and concept. So happy we found him!!
Gail B. from San Pedro, CA
Paul is absolutely an awesome tutor. He is brilliant with simplifying a very difficult subject. I am so grateful for his help and I greatly appreciate his flexibility in making himself available to tutor me.

Paul is a very methodical, understanding, and attentive tutor. After a few chats over the phone, we delved right into six weeks of intense statistics. As anyone knows, statistics has a methodology and language all to its own. Paul provided prompt and helpful feedback during the entire course. Because I was working under strict deadlines, I needed someone who was accessible and knowledgeable in guiding me through the nuances of statistics. If you are looking for a patient and understanding tutor, I highly recommend Paul for your next assignment.

Paul has been a great help in my pre-calc course at UCLA. I have not taken math in a very long time prior to this class and he got me up-to speed really quick and had great patience. Paul is very easy to get a hold of as well and a great overall guy. I would defiantly recommend his services.

Paul has been an absolute pleasure to work with as I work towards my MBA degree. His teaching style is very adaptive, so he can teach in the way you need to learn. He can move in and out of multiple subjects and topics seamlessly and cover a lot of ground without you knowing it. He was able to take me through the journey of about half of a semester's worth of information in 2 hours and I could retain it as well. He does not allow you to get lost and he is very effective via online tutoring. I had hesitation not working in person and I can't even feel the effect of not meeting in person because he is able to use skype so effectively. He is really great!

If anyone is in need of a tutor that is articulate, patient, and intelligent, then I highly recommend Paul. Paul uses an eclectic teaching style to assist his students and never seems inconvenienced when a concept needs reiteration. I was struggling in my second year of Calculus and went to several hours of tutoring at my community college to see no improvement in my test scores. Eventually, I decided that I needed more supplementary assistance, so I enlisted to the tutoring of Paul and he helped me bump up three letter grades in a matter of weeks. Without his help I might have been rescinded from all my colleges and instead I am now fortunate enough to be attending UC Berkeley this upcoming semester!

Paul is by nature a teacher, and he really cares about your success. I had tried another tutor closer to me, but went back to Paul (even though he's farther away) because he knows the subject of statistics backwards and forwards, and has the ability to explain it based on the context of my textbook.
Enrique S. from Lexington, KY
Paul is a caring, very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable tutor. He was able to explain the rationale behind the statistical concepts I was struggling with. I highly recommend him. In addition, he was able to do this from a distance.

Paul has a great ability to explain something that's "complicated" into simple terms. I've had trouble with biostats for a while & with his help, I was able to understand and study for my final that's in a few weeks. Thanks, Paul. :)

Paul taught my brother and I about Z-Scores, different types of graphs, and The Empirical Rule. His understanding of the material really shows when he is teaching because he is able to explain everything very clearly and easily. I am really happy I found Paul to help me prepare for my statistics exam coming up, as he is very helpful!
Conor S. from Los Angeles, CA
I look forward to working with Paul in the future. He has a way of explaining things in a way I can better understand.
Iris C. from Redondo Beach, CA
Worked on understanding ANOVA and how to interpret the results for a PhD level stats class. In addition, he simplified the process when thinking about my own dissertation process, since he used my topic as an example. I will use Paul until I finish the course in February.

Paul is a great tutor! He really helped me understand the importance of checking data prior to hypothesis testing as well as helped me learn how to graph and run certain tests. Very patient and knowledgeable.
Louis F. from Pacific Palisades, CA
Paul thoroughly knows his stuff! He breaks down the information in such relatable ways that you don't only learn and memorize the concepts for the exam but actually gain a grasp on the theory and concepts behind it that'll help you with future exams. Will definitely ask him to tutor me in the future!
Patricia P. from Inglewood, CA
Paul was very patience when it comes to dealing with stressed students. I have so much anxiety when it came to my statistic class, that it was horrible. Paul help me focus enough to be able to take the final and pass. I will be using me again.
Gianfranco S. from Los Angeles, CA
Paul has entirely altered my view on the difficulty of Statistics. He's shown me each time just how much I'm improving, and has continued to make my life in Stats a breeze since the first session. Thank you so much.
