My wife has arrived in the States about 6 months ago from Tokyo. She does not have enough experience of English communication, and I asked Alisa to tutor her. Alisa is a talented and experienced teacher. She gives homework and my wife works on it. And then they review and talk about the homework. My wife told me that it is comfortable for her to talk with Alisa. I hope my wife brushes up her English and I appreciate Alisa supporting it.

Alisa gives Russian lessons to my stubborn and cannot-sit-still 5 year-old. He loves her. She is very patient and able to keep a young student engaged and excited during the entire lesson by using games and changing the curriculum based on the child's progress and interests. My son clearly makes progress in mastering Russian but most importantly, he loves studying it! Alisa is an excellent tutor for young kids!

Alisa did a great job teaching the kids piano. She was very patient and adapted to each of the kid's level of ability. I am horrible at learning languages. Even ones where the letters and sounds are the same. Needless to say, I was very frustrated during my first (and, so far, only) lesson with Alisa. However, she was extremely patient and helpful. Despite my difficulties, Alisa made me feel like I will soon improve. As slow as I was, she never was never impatient and that gave me the will to push through. In fact, this morning I have been precticing the words she taught and I am already making progress. If languages are tough for you, I would definitely recommend Alisa.
