Kevin is an awesome tutor. Without his knowledge of accounting, I would not have passed my ACCT 301A (intermediate) course. I had fallen behind and Kevin worked with me to get me back up to speed. If I did not understand a particular topic, he would always find ways of explaining it to me or use examples to get the point through to me. He is very adaptive to a student's learning style. Unlike other tutors, Kevin does not nickel and dime every single min. of the tutoring session. He actually sits down during the initial session to develop a study planning schedule to understand where the student currently is, and plans out the path that will help the student get to where they need to go. His tutoring hours are very open and he is willing to meet up with a student at anytime. Kevin is awesome because he will cater to your needs and do whatever you need him to do. For instance, if I didn't understand a chapter, he would actually sit and go through the chapter with me, section by section, to ensure that I understood the subject matter. Kevin also helped me tremendously with homework problems. If you get stuck, he would figure out why you got stuck and what the issue was and explain it to you so that you understand your mistakes.
