I am an immigrant from Kenya. I moved to the USA in September 2013. I speak English as a third language. I am the recipient of 2018 All-California Academic award and former student leader at Laney College. I have been tutoring English/EOSL and writing at Laney college from 2015/16. I currently tutor at Laney College. I will be graduating in May 2018 with AA/AS and later transfer as a junior. I currently have a GPA of 3.7 and still aiming higher.
