Gerry was a wonderful tutor, I have struggled with math since I was a child and in order for me to move on to Sac State I was required to pass Business Calculus. Gerry was prompt, professional and very patient. Each week we would go over homework assignments and she would explain to me how to do each step no matter how long it took. She was very nice and personable while also getting down to business, we would often meet at the library and she always arrived on time. Prior to this class I have never had a tutor and I would say Gerry is a gem, she helped me pass the one class that I was extremely anxious about. We went over problems again and again and she helped guide me to the correct answers. I can't say enough great things about her and I would recommend her to anyone with math anxiety!

It was difficult to find a tutor for AP Calculus, but we found a winner for our daughter in Gerry. Our biggest problem was not calling her sooner. Having a tutor is for some reason an embarrassment for young kids these days as they think and wish they knew it all! It takes time and lots of practice, but Gerry was patient and knowledgeable in every aspect and even spent extra time helping and/or following up to make sure everything was going well. Gerry has done an amazing job helping my son excel in calculus. When my son first started with Gerry, he not doing well in the class and was ready to give up. In a short amount of time, Gerry was able to help my son catch up on what he was behind on and he is now grasping the new material on his own. He earned a B on his most recent test, is consistently getting As on his homework assignments, and is well on his way to a passing grade for the semester.
