I was born in former Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). I have worked with schools and nonprofits to help young people be active in their community. In 2010 I came to the U.S. to work on my doctorate in Community Development. After graduation I switched gears and earned a Teaching Certificate. I have taught and tutored students of all ages from kindergarten to high school, as well as college students and older adults.
