Ari
BS, BA, MS, JD, patient, and ready to tutor almost anything
I practice law in San Diego. I teach at local community colleges, and I tutor when I can because I enjoy teaching. I especially enjoy the one-on-one relationship of tutoring where I can be more of a mentor when the student is open to that. I have taught K-12 (including special education) as a substitute. I have taught Intro to Economics as a Teaching Assistant while I was in grad school. I have two teenage children whom I have taught in a home school setting. I have tutored elementary, high...

Common Core
I have home schooled my own children for the past few years. This has covered grades 4-8. We participated in a home school program that trained parents specifically in Common Core. I participated in a lot of that training, and I feel comfortable tutoring Common Core students (especially in math).

ELIZEBETH L. from San Diego, CA
Ari got our two teenage boys' attention right away from a very spirited explanation of enthalpy for their AP Chemistry class. Prior to the first meeting, Ari requested information regarding what issues they were having so he could prepare a lesson for them. That was impressive. It has been only our first lesson with Ari but the boys said that they want to consistently work with him, so it will be.

Ari is a great tutor. He really has a great understanding of law school and how to prepare for law school. He is well informed about the methods of the past and the present. He is also well informed about how to target the test and the application as well. I gained valuable insight and he gave me so many ideas and feedback that I would not have thought of on my own. He also gave me great direction and structure and I definitely want to keep at it and learning and growing more from him. He is also very humble, a great listener, understanding, and can very adaptable and flexible as well. He also has a diverse background that allows him to work with a variety of students, science and non-science and he is able to understand how to target the weaknesses in students and make improvements. I look forward to working with him in the future!
