Christine is a good teacher. My elder son, 9 y/o likes her and I asked if he's ok w/ her, and my son said she was able to relate with him and seems to know teaching well, however, my younger son, a 9 y/o could not relate to her teaching style, maybe Christine would be able to adjust the style when it comes to my other son. Suggestion: 1st 30 mins with my younger son & last 30 mins with my elder son. Except this coming Saturday only, 03/12/11, I requested Christine just for 30 mins only since we need to meet our other app't thereafter.

Christine is great!! She can take difficult concepts and put them in words that I can understand!! I love science but it's not my strong point for sure. Also, that amount of scientific math that has to be done is over my head and she makes it totally understandable! She is great, I recommend her HIGHLY!!!

Christine tutored me in Organic Chemistry, a subject that is extremely difficult for me. She was patient, precise, and she even took notes on the material that I was having the most difficulty on. I did not do well on the exams I had before my tutoring session, but my exam afterwards, raised my exam score up a whole letter grade. I recommend Christine highly. She is an excellent tutor!

This was a great session. We seem to have a good system in place where I go over all materials (i.e. read books and flash cards, and also take practice tests) on my own. Then Christine and I go over the answers I got wrong on the practice exams and/or take some of these exams together. It works out great because we can focus on the weak areas. Now I have started scheduling the actual exams within 2-4 days of our session so that the information is fresh in my mind for the exams (which I seem to be passing so far).

I've delayed writing this review because I'm afraid I can't convey just how essential her help has been with my progress in college. I've met with Christine several times now and every minute has been valuable. She's helped me with chemistry, biology, and my first PowerPoint presentation. It's obvious she loves to tutor so I quickly got over any self-consciousness about not understanding a concept. Her patience never runs out. If she doesn't know the answer to something, she knows the right resources to quickly find the answer, and has a knack for reframing information into a new angle that helps me understand better. She's punctual, funny, cheerful, positive, easy to work with and knows a lot about many subjects. After meeting with her, my study time is much more productive - meaning I can accomplish a lot more in less time (and get excellent grades!) I can't recommend her enough!
