CBEST
My multiple subject credential earned Professional Clear status prior to 1983. The CBEST was designed to test basic proficiency in reading, mathematics, and writing. I also have supplementary single-subject matter authorizations on my credential in English and mathematics (through grade nine).
Aspergers
I have worked with about 7 different students who were designated as aspergers and/or on the spectrum in recent years. In general, these students tend to do well to very well in math because it's structured. It's not social cue dependent or choice confusing. I don't have special ed. or autism certification, but I do have teaching experience specifically with aspergers designated students in my middle school math classes.

My daughter is a six grader and is taking 7th grade online math by herself. She always feels confused. With Ms. S's help, she is much clearer now. We know it is very important to have a good math foundation in middle school, and a great tutor would make it much easier.

Mrs. D has really helped both of my kids, and has been extremely patient with them as they've struggled with challenging math concepts.
