ADD/ADHD

I am qualified to tutor/teach students diagnosed with ADD/ADHD through my teaching certificate as a Resource Specialist, and my 22 years experience working full time in that position for a large school district in the Bay Area. Recently I retired, but I have a great deal of experience with helping students improve their academic functioning, study skills and organizational skills. As a Resource Specialist I worked with students with ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities and autism. In my profession I met with families, school district staff, and other professionals and agencies involved with students to create and case manage the implementation of 504 Plans and IEPs. I also hold a certificate of added authorization in autism. I have had additional workshops on ways to accommodate for weakness in executive functioning.
