In his classroom, Dr. P. uses the chemistry textbook he wrote and texts he wrote for Biology as well. He has had a broad and unusual career, from the Tonight Show where he appeared with Steve Martin to the University of Oxford, England, where he earned his first of three graduate degrees, to many years in research at Vanderbilt University, as an animal surgeon and analytical biochemist.
