I have a strong background in reading instruction and using the creative arts to promote learning. This methodology is often a terrific way to engage students with focus problems. My own daughter has ADHD and I've tutored her throughout school. We utilize stim breaks and a system of rewards that would work well for most students with similar issues. As an LAUSD sub, I have often worked with ADD/ADHD children both in the resource classroom and in regular classrooms.
